Our SS23 collection fetured just one style in collaboration with Alexander Girard: Palio. Designed in 1964 while Girard was leading Herman Miller's textile devision, Palio is a visual representation of the Palio di Siena, a biannual horse race in Siena, Italy. The race features ten horses with their jockeys dressed in the colors of their contrade, or city wards. Girard's Palio pulls its colors and motifs from the various flags of Siena's contrade.

To continue Girard’s emphasis of quality craftsmanship, we had Palio meticulously reengineered by one of our Italian partner mills on a summer-weight 100% cotton poplin. Each color was matched to their original pantones and extra care was taken to ensure pigments hold fast and resist bleeding.

Formal or casual, tucked or untucked, our easy-wearing shirts are an obvious choice for all occasions.

The Classic Button Down

Our classic button down shirts are cut slim with a tailored fit through the body and sleeves. Unlined collars and cuffs and our pre-washing process creates a softer look and helps to minimize additional shrinkage. Made in the USA.
