Details

One of two textile prints in our latest collaboration with the estate of renowned architect and designer Alexander Girard, Broken Stripe (1952) embodies Girard’s graphic illustrative style and forward-thinking design inclinations. This print was originally developed by Girard during his tenure as the Head of Fabric and Textile Division at Herman Miller as upholstery fabric, and was offered in a variety of colorways.

To continue Girard’s emphasis of quality craftsmanship, we had Broken Stripe meticulously reengineered by one of our Italian partner mills on a summer-weight 100% cotton poplin. Each color was matched to their original Pantones and extra care was taken to ensure pigments hold fast and resist bleeding.

Formal or casual, tucked or untucked, our easy-wearing shirts are an obvious choice for all occasions.

The Camp Shirt

Cut and sewn in our Pennsylvania factory, our open-collar camp shirt features a relaxed fit with a straight hemmed bottom designed to fall just at the waist.

*Please note that our camp shirts are not pre-shrunk. They will fit about a size larger right out of the box, and can be shrunk to size using a washer and dryer. Contact us for care guide support.*

Our button-down shirts are pre-shrunk at our factory to prevent shrinking once you receive them.

To measure the neck, first open the collar and lay it flat. Our measurement is taken from the center of the collar button to its corresponding buttonhole.
