This version of the Simple Jacket takes its cues from the corduroy sport coats worn across American university campuses throughout the 1960s. A staple of collegiate Ivy style, these jackets offered a more casual alternative to traditional wool tailoring, pairing familiar sartorial proportions with the rugged texture and everyday versatility of corduroy.

Cut from a Japanese-woven heavyweight 9-wale corduroy, this fabric features pronounced ribs that lend substantial texture, warmth, and old-school character. A rich, leather-brown palette reinforces its vintage appeal, while genuine horn buttons add a final touch of refinement.
