Linen is prized for being lightweight and breathable, while flannel is typically soft, warm, and insulating. By substituting linen for cotton in an otherwise traditional brushed twill construction, we’ve landed somewhere entirely unexpected.
Warm yet breathable, this shirt has the soft embrace of a classic flannel while retaining linen’s characteristic crinkle, bounce, and easy drape. It’s remarkably versatile year-round, but finds its sweet spot during transitional weather, when warm days culminate with cool evenings. Better still, the yarn-dyed charcoal has the faded, familiar character of a flannel that’s been in your grand-pappy's rotation for decades.
And to top it all off, this fabric comes from the textile masters at Italy’s famed Albini mill. Trust us, this is the good stuff.
