In simple terms, Chambray is defined as a plain-weave fabric with blue weft yarns and white warp yarns. It’s a close relative to denim but offers a lighter-weight hand that breaths better and breaks in quicker. Our Classic Chambray, however, is more calculated than that. Heavily slubbed 50’s singles yarns create texture while avoiding heft, indigo-dyed weft yarns offer natural fading after years of wear, and our partner mill in Japan sources only the finest cotton fibers for our proprietary chambray. In other words, this is chambray perfected.
We have worked with our Classic Chambray fabric since 2008.
