This Soviet-era print sits atop a high-density cotton twill. Known as one of the strongest weaves, twill gains its characteristics from its asymetrical, syncopated structure. Essentially, each yarn experiences a higher degree of friction and therefore becomes more durable. And while durability is important, the cotton fibers in this fabric are combed for increased softness and a more flexible drape throughout.
