Lightweight and breezy, this proprietary 89% cotton, 11% linen fabric features intricately textured stripes woven throughout. As the weave technique alternates through the shirt, textured stripes create a subtly nuanced appearance. We're so thrilled with the result, we had it made in five unique colorways. Our Japanese partner mill used high-twist yarns for this fabric, creating a papery and dry hand that will break in and become softer with wear.

The term “dobby” refers to the kind of fabric loom that was used to create this fabric. Unlike a standard loom, dobby looms can adjust the weave on the fly, creating a variable weave pattern throughout the fabric. This fabric leverages its weave to create a series of woven stripes that not only add texture, they also add breathability. -
