Our best-selling Japanese corduroy is back in a 21-wale “micro-cord” construction. With 21 ridges per inch, this style offers a more refined and sophisticated approach to fall’s favorite fabric. Micro cords are prized for their subtle texture and lighter hand, making them wonderful layering pieces that contribute to a look instead of stealing the show. This blue colorway was inspired by the blue haze that comes with an early morning snow.

Our partner mill in Japan has been creating proprietary corduroy for us since 2011. This particular corduroy is woven on vintage looms into a mid-weight 4.7oz hand. Although this weight is comparable to our Cambridge Oxfords, corduroy’s unique construction means this fabric is velvety soft and pliable on day one – no break-in needed. Adding a touch of longevity, we asked our partner mill to use a reactive dye process that bonds pigments to the cotton fibers on the molecular level, ensuring colorfastness that will last a lifetime. -
