Aptly so, this style takes inspiration from Scotland’s Shetland Isles. Its herringbone twill weave pays homage to the wonderful textiles of Shetland while its cool blue nods to the seas that surrounds the isles. Wrapping things up is a delicately brushed face that creates a shirt as soft and warm as any, perfectly suited for the temperamental weather of Northern Scotland and beyond.
Developed just for us at our partner mill in Japan, this fabric features a mid to heavyweight hand perfectly suited for colder days. A double-brushing treatment and a dense twill weave significantly increase warmth without adding bulk. Rounding things out are tonal yarns that create a herringbone motif within the weave, a hallmark detail of many Shetland-style fabrics.
