This particular fabric was woven at a family-owned neckwear textiles mill near Como, Italy with over 100 years of expertise. Their team opted for a 100% merino plain-weave construction, which offers breathability, texture, and durability in equal measure. Our neckwear workshop in North Carolina, USA specializes in hand-crafted ties, meaning no machinery is used in the entire production process. Our team is armed solely with scissors, needles, thread, and an iron. More than a hundred stitches are used to create the lifeline of the tie, giving it a perfect drape while allowing the fabric to settle with each wear. We've also added a complex hand-crocheted bar tack at the top and bottom of the tie for an added touch of luxury.
