If you haven't already noticed, plaids are a theme throughout our AW24 collection. This style, however, is made distinct by its herringbone twill weave and excessively soft triple-brushed hand. Herringbone weave patterns are characterized by their zig-zagging yarns and are heralded for their increased durability over standard twills. With more interlocking yarns with each zig and zag, internal friction increases and the fabric becomes stronger. Balancing this iron-clad durability is a supple, triple-brushed surface on both sides of the fabric, ensuring supreme softness on all areas of the shirt.

Our partner mill in Japan seems to exceed expectations with each fabric they deliver, but this particular style truly blew us away. Few fabrics are is as heavy, durable, soft, and stylistically balanced as this one. This style leverages high-twist yarns for added heft (without extra bulk) and a dense herringbone twill weave to become one of the warmest fabrics we've ever offered. And with its triple-brushed hand, it's also one of the softest. -
