Designed in collaboration with our friends at EasyMoc, the Easy Shirt is born from our shared passion of simple, tasteful, and well-made clothing. At EasyMoc, their namesake shoe style embodies this ethos as a toned down interpretation of the classic hand-sewn moccasin. Meanwhile at Gitman, our Easy Shirt takes a similar approach by mixing our button down and camp shirt with an incredibly robust fabric, creating something with an entirely new energy.

The Easy Shirt starts with our classic button down silhouette that's neither too boxy nor too slim. After that, many of our camp shirt details—camp collar, french front, shoulder pleats, etc.—create a more casual appearance. What we're left with is something that fits properly but presents itself casually. Dress it up, dress it down—as they say.

But where this shirt truly shines is with its fabric. Cut from an impressively heavyweight 8.1oz cotton corduroy, this shirt is far more substantial, warm, and windproof than other corduroys we offer. We like to throw it over a sweater or a t-shirt, but heavyweight fabrics tend not to complain. It's a shirt, it's a jacket... Whatever's easy, right?!

Our collaboration doesn't stop there, however. EasyMoc re-crafted their signature moccasin with the same corduroy fabric that our shirt is cut from. Finished with black metal hardware, leather laces, and a durable Vibram sole, this shoe is similarly robust in its make but casual in its presentation. Head to their site to grab a pair.
